Showing and Growing 4-H Club has enjoyed a very busy and successful summer. The club is made up of seventeen members ranging in age from 3rd graders to seniors in high school. Our advisor is Mrs. Tracy Gray, and she does a top notch job of leading, guiding, and encouraging us throughout the journey of a season of 4-H!

With 17 members, the club began meeting in the month of April. Our June activity was planting flowers at the Morrow County Fairgrounds in preparation for the upcoming fair in September. In July we held our annual carwash and bake sale fundraiser. Our club would like to thank Drug Mart for donating the water and soap, as well as allowing us to use their parking lot. In August, the club helped Fresh Faith Community Church with their community meal and food pantry. Several of our members also took projects to the Ohio State Fair. September brought fair time! At the Morrow County Fair, club members displayed their projects, showed their animals, and had a float in the fair parade on Sunday. Our booth won “Best of Show” this year in the 8 foot category.

The club would like to thank Mrs. Gray for being an awesome advisor, as well as the parents, grandparents, and other relatives who put in time, effort, and money to help make this year a success.
