Highland’s 54th Annual Homecoming will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015. The ceremony will begin at 6:25 pm prior to the football game against Elgin.

The court will be escorted by the senior football players and their fathers. The newly elected Queen will be crowned at this time. The 2015 Highland Homecoming Court consists of the retiring queen, Ms. Lexi Winkelfoos; freshman attendant, Ms. Mary Schwartz; sophomore attendant, Ms. Allie LaFever; junior attendant, Ms. Ashton Terrill and the three senior attendants, Ms. Marlese Ferguson, Ms. Jorden Goodman and Ms. Lydia Morgan. The court has decided to invite two young mascots. Those mascots are Brayson Adams and Saylor Squires; they will take part in the ceremony and present the necklace and crown to the queen and the game football to the team captains.

Mr. Frank Darst, Hamburg Fireworks Display Inc., will be providing fireworks for every Highland touchdown and as always he will give an amazing display after the game. The Youth in Government Club will be offering face painting and glow sticks at the game as well. The traditional Homecoming dance will follow the fireworks for Highland High School students.

Highland will be having dress up “spirit days” during Homecoming week to build excitement for the ceremony. The school will also host a powder puff game and bonfire to be held as a Community pep rally. The pep rally will commence on Wednesday, September 23rd, at the football stadium starting at 6:45pm. All are welcome.
