“Quieting a Noisy Soul,” a biblical counseling video seminar with Dr. Jim Berg, will be offered on Wednesday nights at Morrow Bible Church beginning Feb. 3.

Offered for personal enrichment and growth, the program provides the road map out of turmoil for the struggling believer. It is offered both for personal counsel and for guidance in helping others.

Sounds of guilt, anxiety, anger, despair, addictions, and even entertainment can generate overwhelming noise in our souls. The quiet rest and joy promised by the Lord Jesus can seem illusive, and almost impossible. Yet His words still beckon to us: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

His call extends even to those experiencing panic attacks, obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors as well as those practicing more overtly destructive behaviors such as anorexia, bulimia, addiction, and self-mutilation. No human problem of the soul is too complicated and no personal agony is too overwhelming for the Master.

The video seminar will be offered for twelve weeks on Wednesday nights, 7-9 p.m., Feb. 3 to April 281. To register, please call the church office or register online at morrowbiblechurch.org. Registration is free. The seminar may be attended in-building or online.

Direct links will be provided for online participants. The seminar must be viewed within 24 hours of the seminar Livestream each week.
