A 74-year-old man was injured early Wednesday afternoon when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle and went down at 6169 State Route 95 in Chester Township.

Preliminary information received from law enforcement officials indicated the unnamed man was riding with a group of other riders when he may have become distracted and the bike went down about 2:28 p.m.

The man was airlifted by Medflight to OSU Medical Center in Columbus with a broken leg and a head laceration.

The accidently briefly closed State Route 95 justeast of I-71. Morrow County EMS, the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, and Post 59 of the Ohio State Patrol responded to the scene.
