Senior Food Fun Day winners announced

Senior Fair Food Fun Day offered Morrow County cooks the opportunity to share their culinary talents when the event was held Thursday during the Morrow County Fair.

Following the tasting party, the following winners were announced:

FAVORITE FOODS WITH DAIRY PRODUCTS: Jeanette Kincaid with soup;

FAVORITE FOODS WITH BEEF: Pam Frazier, meatballs in mushroom gravy;

FAVORITE FOODS WITH PORK: Vickie McKinney, Pork Manciotti;

POULTRY; Jeanette Kincaid with hot chicken salad;

GOAT: Matt Brinkman with Gyros; LAMB: Vickie McKInney with Lamb Chops Hawaiian and

VEGETABLES: Black Stump Farm, Mary Neviska with Zucchini Apple Crisp.

Kincaid and McKinney each won two categories. Winners received a premium and a basket.

This event is part of the domestic food department, superintendents Cathy Davis, Sue Beck and Kathy Eichorn.
