At the August Tomorrow Center board meeting, the board approved the hiring of Stephen J. Earnest as treasurer for the Tomorrow Center, replacing Susan Delaney who resigned in July. Earnest is currently the treasurer for Tri-Rivers Career Center and for GOAL Digital Academy.

Director Dan Vincent discussed the current financial situation of the school, “After sitting down with Mrs. Delaney for an hour and discussing our financial situation, I feel good, and we are fiscally sound.”

Brian Petrie, Superintendent of Cardington Schools, noted that the carry over that had been reported in the past in excess of a million dollars has changed because of the agreement with Mt. Gilead however, “starting the year with $600,000 plus dollars for a school of this size is very healthy.”
