The Morrow County Community Center welcomed their new Director, Sara Baldwin, in mid-July.
Baldwin is a Mount Gilead High School graduate and holds her Associate Degree from Marion Technical College in Business Management and Human Resources. Many at the Chamber of Commerce will remember that she worked for the Chamber as an intern and was later employed as the Administrative Assistant there.
“I love being in the Community Center,” commented Baldwin. “People are friendly and everyone helps each other out. It’s such a positive place to work, and everyone encourages each other in their work – outs.”
Baldwin’s husband is Josh Baldwin and their two girls are Kylie and Karlie. They live in the Northmor District in Morrow County.
The next Community Center event that Baldwin is planning for is the “Get Fit- Stay Fit” 5K Run on Saturday Oct. 3. You can get more information at their website, on Face Book, or by stopping in at the Community Center at 16 S. Main St. in Mount Gilead.
