When the fair is over and you feel like you need a rest, try resting at our next bloodmobile visit.

If you would like to give blood, but may be concerned about your health, the American Red Cross is available to answer your questions. If you think that you may be anemic, a staff person will check your blood’s hemoglobin level. Your current blood pressure is also checked for safety. And, don’t worry about losing too much blood. Only a pint is collected, and that still leaves at least nine pints in the average adult.

The next visit is at Morrow County Hospital on Wednesday, September 9 from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Morrow County Chapter of the American Red Cross is an agency of the United Way of Morrow County.
