Suspicious vehicle

Caller reported a gray pickup truck driving up and down on North Delaware Street. A check did not find the vehicle.

Theft

A woman said she had been a victim of a scam and lost $600.

Assists unit

Patrol trooper requested assistance with a traffic stop while conducting a vehicle search.

Domestic call

Officer assisted Morrow County Sheriff with a domestic violence call on Township Road 108.

Assists unit

Department responded to assist EMS personnel with a possible overdose.

Alarm drop

A Bank Street residence was investigated. The home was secured. Two dogs running free inside the home may have set off the alarm.

Woman helped

Officer responded to a call on West High Street where a woman’s vehicle had broken down. She is confined to a mobility chair and was unable to find a way home. The officer transported her to her residence, along with the chair, with assistance from village firefighters.

Stolen vehicle

A woman reported a 2007 Ford 500 taken from her home.

Crash reported

A woman said her vehicle was struck by an ambulance causing damage to each vehicles’ mirrors.

Deer struck

A motorist traveling westbound on West Marion Road when another vehicle traveling eastbound struck a deer, launching it into the path of the vehicle. It caused property damage. The deer carcass was disposed of properly.

Suspicious person

A caller on South Main and Center streets reported a person wearing all black and a black mask. Patrol of the area did not locate the individual.

Store theft

A manager at Family Dollar reported a woman had stolen property and left the store.

Burglary

A resident on North Rich Street reported his apartment entered and two computer tables taken.

Marijuana found

Officer and K-9 partner Nik assisted with a stop on West Marion Road. A small amount of marijuana was found inside the vehicle.
