A business on East Marion Street reported a vehicle stolen.

Firearm found

A resident found a firearm in the roadway on West High Street. The firearm had been reported stolen/missing by the Ontario Police Department.

Citations issued

A man was cited for driving under suspension and a stop sign violation at Westview Drive and Douglas Street.

Traffic accident

A motorist was stopped on West Marion Road at the red light at the entrance to Taco Bell when it was struck from behind by another vehicle. The operator of that vehicle was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Dogs fighting

A dog fight on North Rich Street was reported. A dog went onto the property of two other dogs who were chained up and they started fighting. The lost dog was taken to the Morrow County Dog Shelter.

Driver cited

A man was cited for driving under suspension on West Marion Road.

Man falls

A man was intoxicated and fell in the alley behind his residence on North Rich Street. He refused treatment and was advised to stay in his residence until sober.

Theft of fuel

A woman advised someone she knows used her identification to purchase $424.39 worth of fuel through a credit card.

Accident

A motorist traveling east on East High Street was struck by a vehicle going through the intersection at East Marion Street, failing to stop at the stop sign. The crash caused property damage only.

Assists unit

Officer assisted EMS with a patient having chest pains. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Suspicious persons

A report of two men at a business on South Main Street was investigated. They were gone when the officer arrived. Everything was secure.
