MOUNT GILEAD — On Thursday, Nov. 1, Mason Schnars escaped from custody while in the Morrow County Municipal Court.
He was reportedly captured around 7:30 p.m., Morrow County Sheriff John Hinton said.
Schnars was able to steal a vehicle after his escape. That vehicle was recovered on Township Road 187. A 2002 Dodge Durango grey in color was taken from a residence on Township Road 187.
Schnars traveled south on County Road 170 in the area of County Road 15 in the vehicle.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were among those looking for Schnars.
