MOUNT GILEAD — The village had a major water leak Monday and parts of it were under a boil advisory.

That advisory has been lifted, according to village officials.

It was repaired around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday and a boil alert had been issued “for the high-pressure district” side of the village.

This area consists of everything east and north of Iberia Street, but not Iberia Street; north of West North Street to Main Street including East Marion and East streets.

Residents can call the water treatment plant’s automated system for more information at 419-946-1871.
