CARDINGTON — Reservations are being taken for the 88th Cardington-Lincoln High School Alumni meeting/party to be held Saturday, May 26 at the high school.

A tour of the Nichols Street Building will be given at 2:30 p.m. by 1977 C-LHS alum Alan Long. The dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the high school and it will be followed by the meeting/program at 6:30 p.m. in the Drouhard Auditorium.

The 50-year class, 1968, will be individually recognized. Other classes to be honored in a group will be those of 1948, 1955, 1958 and 1963.

Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded during the program conducted by alumni president Gary Ebert, who will also lead the induction of several alumni into the association’s Hall of Fame.

Following the meeting, music for listening or dancing will be performed by the Palace Theatre Big Band, from Marion.

Cost for the evening’s events is $20 which includes the dinner, meeting and the music/dance. Those wishing to attend only the meeting and music portion will pay $8 at the door.
