MOUNT GILEAD — Kroger invites shoppers to celebrate the grand re-opening of its 52,243-square-foot store on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Guests may register to win one of ten $100 Kroger gift cards, partake in food sampling and bring the kids for balloon sculpting and face painting. Open house hours be from 4-6 p.m.

“We are proud of our remodeled store, which allows us to expand our selection of fresh products, especially in our meat department,” said Josh Rostorfer, Mount Gilead Kroger store leader.

“Glass doors installed on cases in our produce, dairy, deli and beverage departments help keep food fresh while reducing energy consumption.”

Energy efficient LED lighting was also installed throughout the store as part of the $2.8 million remodel.

The store is located at 555 Marion Road and includes an onsite fuel center and pharmacy. Store hours are 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily for customer convenience, with the pharmacy open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., weekdays; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays.
