Project Day was set for Oct. 28 when members of Jenkins-Vaughan Auxiliary Unit 97 met in regular session on Oct. 17.

Neck pillows and Ditty bags will be made when they meet at the Post 97 home.

Patty McAvoy, chairman of the Children and Youth Committee, said she has supplies to be turned into the school. She is also participating in the Ohio Reads Program at the school this year.

Linda Gordon will check to see if more poppies should be ordered for next year.

Thank you notes were read from Buckeye Girls State delegates Emma Dean and Kaelie Tracht and from the Cardington-Lincoln Education Foundation for the money the unit gave for the purchase of scissors.

The unit agreed to donate money to the Marie Moore and Elizabeth Clark funds, the VA birthday party and the Columbus VA.

Responding to a correspondence from the Cardington-Lincoln K-4 Intervention Specialist, the unit donated $150 for the purchase of nutritious snacks for her students.

Shirley Robinson said members of First United Methodist Church will be making ham loaves on Nov. 11 to be sold.

The next unit meeting will be held Nov. 21.
