MOUNT GILEAD — The Mount Gilead Kiwanis Club will honor veterans at their Pancake Day event.
The club’s annual pancake day is Saturday, Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. to noon at the Park Avenue Elementary School multipurpose room.
All you can eat pancakes will be served and entertainment will be provided. This year the club will honor all veterans with a free breakfast.
Pre-sale tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. At the door prices are $6 and $4.
The proceeds from the Pancake Day will be used to support a variety of community service needs including Heartbeat, MGMS Pride Program, Kiwanis Closets, local student scholarships, Fort Gilead Playground and many more.
