Theft of money
A woman reported money taken from her vehicle on North Main Street.
Medical issue
Officers assisted EMS personnel with a woman having a possible heart attack.
Criminal trespass
A man was arrested for criminal trespassing on West Marion Road.
Man arrested
An officer assisted sheriff’s deputy at Hidden Lakes. A man armed with a knife attempted to attack another man. He was arrested.
OVI charged
A woman was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to control on West High Street.
Traffic offense
A man was cited for driving under suspension and having no front license plate on East Union Street.
Motorist cited
A man was cited for driving under suspension and having one headlight in the 800 block of West Marion Road.
Syringe found
A resident reported finding a syringe in the tree lawn on West Marion Street. It was taken to the hospital for proper disposal.
Lockouts
Officers assisted several motorists with lockouts.
Public intoxication
A man was intoxicated at 100 West High Street waiting for a ride. He was warned not to be in public intoxicated or charges would follow.
Help with pursuit
Officers assisted sheriff’s office with a vehicle/foot pursuit at County Roads 109 and 20.
Hit-skip reported
A motorist backed out of a parking space at 81 N. Walnut St. and struck another vehicle causing damage.
Theft
A report of shoplifting was investigated on West High Street.
