Cast sought for comedy

Cast members are needed for the comedy, Doc Chester’s Medicine Show, an annual part of the Chesterville Heritage Day Festival.

Rehearsals take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26-28 and Oct. 2-4 at the Chester Town Hall. The Town Hall is located on East Sandusky Street, across from the Chesterville Post Office.

All former and new cast members welcome.

Benefit ride planned

Nathan Dotters Cancer Benefit Ride is Saturday, Sept. 30. Registration noon-1 p.m.; first bike out at 12:30 p.m.; non-riders may arrive for party at 5 p.m., at Boondocks Restaurant, 2987 State Route 61, Fulton.

C-L homecoming events

Cardington-Lincoln High School’s homecoming weekend will kick off when the annual Homecoming Parade is held Wednesday, Sept. 27.

It will step off at 6 p.m. from the high school and follow a route through the village and back to the high school where a bonfire will take place.

The parade will be led by the high school marching band directed by John Brehm.

The homecoming ceremony will take place Friday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m. preceding the football game when the Cardington Pirates host the Northmor Knights.
