​Hope for the Hungry. A community food packing event held at Highland Middle School, 6506 State Route 229, Marengo; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Everyone is welcome as a community to prepare meals and provide hope for those suffering from hunger in Haiti. Congregations, clubs and organizations are invited.

Morrow County Tea Party, 9:30 a.m. A breakfast get-together at Edison Depot Café. This is a casual gathering for anyone interested in getting to know others in the community and share ideas.

The Morrow County Genealogical Society monthly meeting at the Mount Gilead Public Library. The program, “The History of the Logan Family of Morrow County” will be presented by Susan Logan. Meeting is open to the public and will begin at 2 p.m.

The 17th annual Wild Run, Headwaters Outdoor Education Center; entry fees $10; 2-mile looped grass trails course; portable restrooms available; one-mile walk and dog walk (dogs must be leashed). Design Studio 27 Community Festival, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; 4560 State Rote 229, Marengo. Food, bounce house; pie auction, food vendors, raffle items. Proceeds go toward sending students to the Eco Center, an outdoor science-based learning program.

Morrow County Historical Society calendar launch, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the History Center, 17 W. High St., Mount Gilead. The calendar theme is Doctors of Morrow County. Dr. Nathan Tucker, as portrayed by Wayne Au, will be present. Tours of downtown, focusing on stores and businesses of the past, will take place.

Oct. 7

Morrow County Master Gardner Volunteers will be holding a bulb sale at the fairgrounds in the pavilion by the little stage; 9-11 a.m. Sales of fall bulbs in Morrow county school colors and mixed packages of tulips, hyacinths and crocus.

Oct. 10

A free produce market at American Legion Post 97 at 307 Park Ave., Cardington. Hours are 2:30-4:30 p.m. A photo ID is required. Bring your own box. They will have monthly produce markets on the second Tuesday of each month. It is a Mid-Ohio Foodbank pantry.

Oct. 18

Ag Credit building, upstairs conference room; 6 p.m.; class about creating wildlife habitat and food plots for wildlife.
