A North Walnut Street resident reported items stolen from her porch.

Syringe found

A used and uncapped syringe was found in the grass on West North Street.

July 14

Mailbox damaged

A complaint was filed regarding a damaged mailbox. It was determined that a neighbor’s family member struck. It was repaired.

Woman arrested

A woman who had overdosed on South Delaware Street had warrants for her arrest. She was taken to the Morrow County Correctional Facility after being treated at the hospital.

Traffic offense

A man was cited and released for driving under suspension on South Main Street.

July 15

Vehicle struck

A woman reported her vehicle struck at McDonald’s and the other motorist left the scene.

Misdemeanor warrant

Investigating a domestic dispute it was discovered a woman had an active warrant from Mount Gilead Mayor’s Court. She was arrested.

Traffic offenses

A man was cited and released at North Main and Cedar streets for no operator’s license and no front plate.

July 16

Narcotics arrest

When a vehicle was stopped for a loud exhaust, K-9 officer Nik helped discover marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A female passenger was cited for possession of both.

Hit-skip

A woman said her vehicle was struck in the rear bumper. She was unsure of when it occurred.

July 17

Dog bitten

A man reported that his dog was bitten in the left rear leg by a neighbor’s dog on Chartwell Street. The owner of the dog said his animal had gotten loose. Information was provided to the dog warden.

July 18

Narcotics arrest

Investigating a suspicious vehicle at the Morrow County Fairgounds, K-9 officer Nik discovered marijuana, two pipes and a grinder. The vehicle’s owner was charged.

Narcotics arrest

When a vehicle was stopped for loud exhaust a plastic bag of marijuana was found inside. A man was issued a summons for possession.

July 19

Theft of funds

A local non-profit alumni group reported someone wrote several checks from its account totaling $1,784.15.
