When Scott Roberts was seeking a place to practice, “I was looking for a place that has a sense of community and small town-so I wrote Cardington on a piece of paper as a possible place to start my career.”

Co-incidentally, the next day he was on the internet looking for listings

on a site he rarely visited and came across a listing for a medical office

in Cardington. Checking out the office he saw the potential it and Cardington has and “I signed the contract and have been renovating it ever since.”

Roberts, Doctor of Chiropractic, will open his office, Cardington Chiropractic, at 117 East Main Street (formerly the office of Dr. Wm. Lee) on June 5. He will host an open house May 29 beginning at 10 a.m.

A graduate of Buckeye Central High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Heidelberg University, Tiffin, and completed his chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida.

“I grew up around Chiropractic,” he said, explaining that his mother worked for Dr. Thresa Young DC in New Washington. Roberts attained his internship under Dr. Young.

Roberts said his practice offers service to all ages with office hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Tuesday and Saturday and he will be closed on Thursday.

The office can be reached at 419-718-4325. “Everyone I’ve met has been very supportive,” said Roberts. Mayor

Susie Peyton said “I’m so pleased that he has brought his practice to Cardington.”
