March 23- Vandalism

A Mount Gilead Police officer was dispatched to Mount Gilead Manor to handle a complaint of a key scratch on the roof of a resident’s vehicle.

March 25- Animal complaint

A caller reported that a driver was trying to leave a canine at the former Morrow County Dog Shelter.

March 26- Assist other unit

An officer was dispatched to a North Walnut Street residence to assist Morrow County EMS with a drug overdose patient.

March 27- Narcotics complaint

A driver on North Main Street was cited and released for marijuana possession.

March 27- Hit-skip accident

MGPD responded to an Iberia Street residence in regards to mailbox damage.

March 27- Juvenile complaint

The services department supervisor reported that there were three male juveniles at the pool throwing stones.

March 28- Drunk

Mount Gilead Police were called to an Iberia Street business to assist with an intoxicated male sitting out front of the establishment.

March 28- Mental

While on patrol an officer pulled over a vehicle traveling on East High Street at excessive speed. After a conversation with the operator of the vehicle, the officer determined the woman to be an unstable mental condition. She was released to family members.

March 29- Assault

A North Main Street resident called to report to police that he had been assaulted. An officer caught up with the two accused to the assault and arrested them.

March 28- Assist other unit

An officer was called to a Westview Drive residence to assist emergency services with an overdose patient.

March 28- Assist other unit

MGPD was dispatched to Morrow County Hospital to assist staff with an overdose patient.

March 28- Theft

A North Main Street resident reported to police that someone had stolen prescription medication from him.

March 29- Threats

A West High Street resident reported being harassed by an another party.

March 29- Vandalism

Police Chief Zerman reported that some of the base plugs at the Edison Ball Fields.

March 29- Felony warrant arrest

Mount Gilead Police arrested a North Main Street resident on an active felony warrant out of Athens County.

March 29- OVI

An officer arrested and cited a driver on West Marion Street for OVI and an open container.
