Morrow County Health District is excited to participate in the National Public Health Week April 3-9. During National Public Health week, the organization will join together to enhance public health awareness within our community and promote the obligations and duties of public health.

Morrow County Health District would like to extend an invitation to all Morrow County residents and community partners to join in celebrating public health and move to creating the healthiest nation by 2030. As part of this year’s campaign Morrow County Health District will be leading the charge for residents to get active and eat healthy. We realize that your days are busy and it can be difficult to squeeze in a healthy snack, so we are going to help you out! Throughout the week you will be able to find free fresh fruit supplied by us at the following locations: Morrow County Health District waiting rooms, Job and Family services, and the County Courthouse.

Please take this week as an opportunity to look at what health goals you would like to make for you and your family. Will you start a family stepping challenge? Try some new healthy recipes? Do you have some great ideas for healthy living that you want to share? Post on our Facebook Page what you plan to do this week and #nationalpublichealthweek, we want to see your progress!
