Northmor Senior, Cindy Pulley told Chamber of Commerce members of her experience going to Washington, D.C. for her competition in the National JOG Competition. Pulley is a student in the Jobs for Ohio Graduates (JOG) program at Northmor. She went to the national competition with her JOG instructor, Ellie Donohue.

Pulley said their were 34 states represented at the competition where she was interviewed and submitted her resume. Of the 390 participants from around the nation, Pulley placed second. She gave thanks and credit to her teacher Ellie Donohue and Northmor Superintendent, Chad Redmond for their support and encouragement. She also thanked her aunt Taralyn Ramos who was with her at the Chamber meeting.

The health challenges that she had are the reason she hopes to go into nursing at North Central State Technical College. Pulley said she eventually hopes to work at a local hospital.
