Sacred Hearts Church invites the public on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, for a fish fry in the new Monsignor Foeller Social Hall.

As many in Morrow County know, the old church burned to the ground on Thanksgiving morning in 2013.

“That was a tough time for our congregation but we are blessed to have a beautiful new Church, which we invite everyone to see,” Sacred Hearts member Andy Ware said. “The St. Patrick’s Day Fish Fry is part of our efforts to retire the remaining debt from the re-building process.”

The dinner is on Friday March 17, with service anytime between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sacred Hearts is located between Cardington and Mount Gilead on US Route 42.

The event will include a choice of fried fish or baked fish, or macaroni and cheese. The cost is per plate with drink included.

“Our ladies are baking some wonderful, home-made desserts which will be sold separately,” Ware said.

Costs are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for kids under five, and children under two eat free.
