The Chesterville Dollar General Store, located at 6696 SR 95 Chesterville, celebrated its Grand Opening on Saturday July 4th.

Foggy skies did not deter the line from forming at 6 am in anticipation of the 8 am opening. The parking lot was full and line formed around the building.

Dorothy and Peggy Frame of Sparta were the first in line. Both ladies expressed their excitement about having the store so close to where they live and the ability to shop within Morrow County for some of their needs.

Manager Lee Rickman is a Morrow County resident. He and his district manager Jeff Tarbert welcomed shoppers to the store and distributed $10 gift cards to the first 50 shoppers.

The store will be open 7 days a week and is open from 8 am to 10 pm every day.
