Cardington-Lincoln FCCLA members sponsored a movie night at Cardington High School, Thursday, Jan. 12. Chapter members, family members, and community members came to the school auditorium to enjoy an evening at the movies.

Donations of $1 or a canned good per person were accepted and some brought more than one. Snacks were also sold for the cause. The premise behind the movie night was to raise money and food for the Cardington Food Pantry.

“It was super successful,” said Toby Beveridge, Chapter President.

Over $90 and over 60 food items were collected.

“We had an opportunity to support the food pantry at the church. Makes me glad to be a part of our chapter,” said Lesley Reed, Chapter Treasurer.
