Under a canopy of autumn tinged trees, blue skies and warm temperatures 600 visitors attended the Lutheran Memorial Camp Apple Butter Festival.

Those attending contributed to full and partial scholarships numbering between 12 and 15.

Also present were 48 volunteers. Auction chairman was Jenny Young.

The festival staff thanks all who donated so generously to the auction and to Chris Shoemaker for bringing his cider mill and donating all the proceeds to the Camperships.

Others who contributed to the festival success were the Avalon Nine, providing music and Craftsmen in Artisans Alley: Jack Hudson, Linda Staup, Christine Bentley, Jennifer Sible and Teresa Clow.
