At 3:15 pm EDT Wed JulY 8 2015, The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Flood Watch for Morrow, Crawford, Richland, Knox, Marion and counties in North Central Ohio from 1 am EDT Thursday through Thursday morning.

Another round of heavy rain and possible flooding headed this way for late tonight and Thursday.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected late tonight and Thursday morning. The ground is already saturated so the expected 1 to 2 inches of additional rainfall may cause some flooding to occur.

Impacts will be flooding of low-lying areas and small streams that may affect property and driving.

A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
