The Mount Vernon Toastmasters Club #1259 has announced that it will sponsors a new club in Mount Gilead.
The initial meeting will take place on Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at the new Lubrication Specialties Inc. facility located at 3975 Morrow Meadows in Mount Gilead.
Chris Gabrelcik, owner of LSI (and member of the award winning Mount Vernon Toastmasters Club) is proud to host this new club at his centrally located facility, and has been looking forward to this club launch for months. This is the newest club start up in central Ohio, approximately 20 minutes from Sunbury to the south, Mansfield to the north, Mount Vernon to the east or Marion to the west. “This new location will provide a great venue for so many central Ohio residents to experience the Toastmasters difference in building their confidence and developing new leadership skills.” Stated Bob West, Vice President of Membership in the Mount Vernon Club and co-sponsor of the Mount Gilead project. “Adults in any field have so few options to improve interview and public speaking skills in such a practical setting and positive environment.”
Dave Wiley, Toastmasters District 10 Governor out of the Akron area, will be conducting the “Demonstration” meeting with an agenda much like a customary Toastmasters gathering. 5-7 minute Speeches with speech evaluations, impromptu 2 minute “Table Topics” talks, all parts of a routine meeting. The new Mount Gilead Toastmasters Club plans initially to meet the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Wednesdays of any month at the LSI building, the regular meeting time will be determined by the club members.
