An officer cited and released a driver on North Main Street for driving under suspension.

Sept. 19- Harassment

Police were informed that a Lee Street resident was receiving repeated unwanted messages from someone on Facebook.

Sept. 19- Theft

Employees at Save-A-Lot reported a shoplifting incident.

Sept. 19- Felony warrant

A West Marion Street resident was arrested by Mount Gilead Police on a drug trafficking warrant.

Sept. 20- Assault

Mount Gilead Police filed a report concerning an incident in which a student was assaulted at the Mount Gilead Middle School.

Sept. 20- Theft

An employee a South Main Street business informed police that a female subject attempted to steal beer from the store.

Sept. 21- OVI

Police arrested a driver on West High Street for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was additionally cited for driving under suspension, furnishing false information to a police officer and a missing headlight.
