The Morrow County Retired Teachers Association will hold their fall luncheon meeting on Oct. 3 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Carol Remington, president of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, will provide updates on the state retirement system. Local officers will be elected for 2017, and the annual book sale will take place.
At the MCRTA meeting earlier this summer, Lydia Morgan, a 2016 Highland High School graduate, was awarded the MCRTA scholarship. At Highland Lydia excelled in academics, sports and music. She is now attending Indiana Wesleyan University.
