The Mount Gilead State Park will host the annual Apple Butter Festival Oct.7-8.

Trick or treat and costume judging will take place Friday evening, October 7 and camp site judging will be made on October 8.

Apple Butter will be made on site early Saturday morning, and it will be sold Saturday afternoon.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. in shelter house number one both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Lunch will also be served Saturday.

There will be entertainment at the shelter house Saturday afternoon and other events.

The public is invited to this annual fall event.For more information, contact the park at 419-946-1961.
