The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Tent 91, met for its regular meeting Sept. 7 at the home of Lois Rinehart. Meeting was conducted in regular form by President, Cathy Brown.
Communications included a thank you from the Ohio Veterans’ Home for donations made and “The Veteran” newsletter from the Veterans Home.
The head stone of another veteran at Fairview Cemetery has been reset. Three Ohio Flags have been ordered to be presented at later dates.
Final plans were made for the Ohio District Meeting to be held Sept. 24 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Tent 91 is hosting this event.
Next meeting will be held Oct. 5 at the home of Marilyn Sipes.
