Brandon Strain, president of the Morrow County Fair Board, said the recent fair run “went well.”

“We beat last year’s attendance by 300,” he explained. “We had good weather which lasted all week.”

Strain noted that harness racing was well attended. Farm Products had the largest amount of entries.

The camping area, expanded this year, was also filled.

Otterbacher Amusements furnished the Midway rides. The Mount Gilead Music Boosters served the entry gates and the Northmor Running Club, the pit gate

Strain said the annual board of directors election will be held Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the senior fair office.

Terms expiring in 2016 are those of Anthony Shaffer, Chester Township; Kathy Eichorn, Troy Township; Act Bowersmith, at large- Sue Beck at -large Dale Bowersmith Harmony; Cathy Davis, Lincoln and Dale Huvler, North Bloomfield.
