Rain and cool weather did not dampen the spirits or attendance of an estimated 2,000 people attending the day long Street Fair at Cardington Saturday, June 27.

Lea Ann Maceyko, president of Friends of Cardington who organized the event, was pleased with the turnout. On behalf of the committee she thanked all who attended and all those who performed, offered food booths, games, etc. She especially thanks all sponsors, especially the Pythian Sisters, Lubrication Specialists and CYT, the latter sponsoring the spectacular fire works that wound up the day.

Preparations are already underway for the next Street Fair to be held June 25, 2016.
