Young readers get fire safety lesson


Super Heroes "Johnsville Fire Department " & friends

Perry Cook Memorial Library invited the Johnsville Firemen as the heroes for the June 17th summer reading program. Captain Jerry Boyle SR, LT. Shelly Rinehart, firemen: Randy Anderson, Jerry Boyle JR, J.E. Anderson and Cadet Caleb Anderson came to the library.

The firemen demonstrated different machines used at a burning house or a car accident. They explained to the children if they happen to be in a burning house to stay close to a wall or if possible under a window. Teens 14 or older can become a fire cadet.
