Following March 15 passage of two levies stipulating the terms of its liquor license, construction has continued on the La Cabinita restaurant in downtown Mount Gilead.

The new Mexican restaurant has no definitive opening date as of yet but renovation is moving forward and the sign for the restuarant is now up.

La Cabinita will take over the building formerly occupied by Hatfield’s Kitchen.
