The 65th wedding anniversary of Marvin and Janet (Burggraf) Bishop will be celebrated by family and friends at an Open House on Dec. 16 at the All Occasions Banquet Facility in Waldo.
Guests will be received 3-5 p.m. No gifts please, cards only.
The couple was married Dec. 14, 1952, at the Chesterville Methodist Church. Officiating clergyman was Reverend Harry Lambert.
They have two sons and two daughters, Dianne (Doug) Carey, Marion; Phillip (Susan) Bishop, Marysville; Lowell (Kathy) Bishop, Columbus and Denise (Gary) Smith, Waldo.
They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Marvin retired from the State of Ohio Department of Youth Services and Janet retired from working as a bookkeeper.
