8:01 p.m. Complainant reported a dog bite on South Rich St.
4:49 a.m. Unsecured Door on the West Side of Mt. Gilead High School, building was checked and door secured.
8:45 a.m. Complainant requested a wellbeing check on her brother on S. Main St. She received a call that day from her brother telling her that people have been breaking and putting things in his coffee. Made contact was advised that he said people at the Mental Health had been “messing with his medication” and it was making him mad. Let in rant for a few minutes because it made him feel better and the scene was cleared.
2:31 p.m. The complainant on Highland Ave. reported that she is being harassed by a woman and a man. Made contact to all parties and told them not to have contact with each other.
8:19 p.m. A motorist reported a suspicious package on top of a mailbox on South Cherry St. Could not find a return address on the package and the post master was dispatched to the scene. The post master took possession of the package and stated an elderly couple lived there and he believe they put it there for pick up.
9:08 p.m. Arrested on E. North St. on domestic violence.
10:11 p.m. Called reported someone threw a rock through his window of his truck on S. Delaware St. The glass was examined and was told that the way the glass was that the hot weather and a possible defect may have caused the glass to break but the incident would be documented.
10:32 p.m. Flagged down by juveniles on South Main ST and West Marion Rd. who were pointing to a blue van. Noticed a blue van following a woman, while yelling at her while she was walking. Asked the woman what was going on and she stated her and her husband got into an argument, asked the her husband same thing and he agreed. She stated she just need some space for a second. She stated they were fine and they were going home but were given verbal warnings for disorderly conduct.
12:23 a.m. The complainant reported a truck backed up to the entrance on S. Delaware and stated he felt it was suspicious. Only found a truck backed into a parking space near the entrance.
12:27 a.m. The front entrance door at the Merchant Mall was found unsecure and partially ajar. Building was checked and secured.
5:20 a.m. Report from S. Delaware home on receiving menacing text messages from a number she did not recognize, in reference to causing harm to her family. The subject then advised that a friend had sent the messages and apologized. An attempt was made to my make contact with sender but did not receive an answer.
12:06 p.m. On Twp. Rd 109, assisted with a suicidal male, who voluntarily went to the hospital.
3:40 p.m. Caller reported a female yelling at her mother on S. Delaware St. The woman was under the influence of alcohol and was staying at her mother’s apartment where she was advised to go there and not leave the apartment and cause another disturbance.
4:30 p.m. Complainant advised someone stole the sticker off his trailer license place on N. Main St. He showed his registration to the trailer and proved to be valid. He advised he wanted a police report on the incident so when he went to get another tag there was proof. The Complainant advised there was a man who use to live in the trailer park who complained about his boat trailer being expired. Management gave him until July 1, 2014 to have his boat removed.
9:02 p.m. Complainant advised his ex-wife was at his house on Chartwell St. and would not leave. He stated she wanted to talk about child custody issues they were having. She stated she was trying to talk to her ex-husband about their kids. If they could not be civil about their child exchange they could meet at the police station.
1:33 a.m. Assisted on St Rt. 61 in reference to a fight and multiple intoxicated subjects.
6:25 a.m. Located three doors ajar at H.P.M. and secured the doors.
7:27 p.m. Complainant advised her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend was at her house to pick up her boyfriend’s kids on Lincoln Ave and stated she was not suppose to be there. She advised her ex-boyfriend was suppose to drop the kids off to her and that was part of the child exchange agreement but he had called telling her to come pick up the kids today. Both parties were told that it’s a civil matter.
7:37p.m. Dispatched to W. High St. to a 3 motor vehicle accident with injury.
11:56 p.m. Received a report of a male subject standing in the wooded area and past her residence on S. Main St. She advised that upon walking outside the man yelled “shut up or I’ll kill you” then ran Eastbound into the woods. Later that morning, while outside with her mother, a male man was again standing behind her residence and yelling profanity at them and the ran Eastbound into the wooded area but was unable to locate anyone.
01:32 a.m. Dispatched to State Rt. 229 to an active breaking and entering in which the caller had one of the two at gunpoint. While en route, both suspects had fled on foot.
04:23 a.m. Dispatched to Town St., a woman reported that her husband had been assaulted while attempting to confront two subjects in their driveway with flashlights.
09:55 a.m. The complainant requested assistance with retrieving her children. They were visiting their father for visitation and he refused to return them to the complainant. No one would answer the door.
11:52 a.m. A young female child called 911. The female told the dispatcher that her sister was raped and then she hung up. The 9 year old said that her brother was calling her names so she made up that story and called 911. Leaving the house on Grant St, the proper use of 911 was explained.
2:10 p.m. An unknown caller reported that there was a man at N. Main St and he was not suppose to be there. The man explained he use to live at that trailer and was just retrieving some more of his things. The owner of the trailer did confirm he use to live there and there is still more of his things but she would call and schedule a time for him to come back when the police can be there.
3:01 p.m. The complainant was traveling East on West Marion Rd. when a female walked into his path. The female had visible minor injuries but refused medical treatment from the squad.
3:25 p.m. The complainant reported that his bicycle had been stolen sometime overnight on S. Rich St.
5:36 p.m. Assisted the Morrow Co EMS 9 on Lee St. involving a woman that was involved in accident earlier. The patient was transported to Morrow County Hospital.
04:16 a.m. A report of a suspicious male in his driveway on Town St. was by his vehicle. He advised the subject was wearing a grey sweat suit and that he did not see where he had went. HE was intoxicated and advised that he has his “Forty Five” in his waist band. He is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. The weapon was found to be a black toy pistol resembling a beretta.
12:30 p.m. The district manager of McDonalds expressed concerns of a behavior of a customer. The customer had filed two complaints against one of the store managers because of things the he thinks he has over heard and has accused the manager of stealing his bicycles from his driveway. The district manager said that she has talked to staff and the man in person and they are very uneasy about his behavior.
12:48 p.m. The caller reported that her phone was stolen a week earlier on Lee St.. She said that he took her phone and left his with her. The grandmother said that the traded phones and now she wanted her phone back. Based on what evidence there had been no crime committed.
3:20 p.m. The complainant reported that a male parked in front of her residence and then walked to a residence approximately one and one half block away from N. Rich St. She felt this was suspicious and wanted to call just in case something happened in the area.
3:32 p.m. The caller wanted to report vandalism to the State Route in front of his home on N. Main St.
4:37 p.m. Caller reported a male going door to door selling vacuum cleaners on Hillside. She was concerned if they had a permit to do so.
8:22 p.m. Caller reported receiving text messages from a telephone number from California. No one answered. In the messages, the complainant’s children were named and that she was going to die in 7 days. The complainant requested the incident documented.
10:40 p.m. Complainant reported an intoxicated female throwing items in her yard and into the street on W. High St. The female was arrested for persistence disorderly conduct.
12:12 a.m. Fire Control received a open line but could not hear anyone. The fire control tried to call the number back but it kept ringing busy. All the lights were off and did not get a answer at the door on East St.
1:04 p.m. Fire Control reported a man sitting on the guard rail on the bridge on South Main St. They requested someone check on him and make sure everything was okay. The man was gone.
3:36 p.m. Unknown caller reported that two guys pulled another male from a vehicle and assaulted him on South Rich St.. The victim said the two males started a fight with him and assaulted him because he told one of them to stop talking to his 13 year old sister. No one involved wanted to follow through with any charges.
10:00 p.m. Staff at Certified reported he caught two male juveniles stealing cans of pop and energy drinks. The clerk told the kids to leave and for the incident to be documented.
12:05 p.m. The complainant reported that someone backed into her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot on S. Delaware St. The vehicle then left the scene. A witness was able to obtain the registration. He advised that he went inside the building and spoke with two people but they had no idea who the vehicle belonged to so he left.
12:17 p.m. Township Trustees reported that a male was at the cemetery on S. Main St. removing logs from a tree that had been cut down. According to the trustee the logs were to remain there per the contract they had signed. According to the man who was there to remove them he had been hired by an Amish man who bought the logs from the contractor that the township hired. One of the trustees called the contractor and he admitted that he had sold the logs in contrast to the contract. The contractor also claimed that he attempted to return the check to the Amish man this morning but was not able to return it. The Prosecutor said to have the man leave the logs at the scene until the issue was worked out. The man unloaded the logs and left.
12:32 p.m. The complainant called to report a possible burglary at the front apartment on W. High St. The door glass had been broken out and the door was unlocked. The tenant advised the complainant that the window had been broken earlier in the week.
1:39 p.m. Director of Central Ohio Mental Health requested assistance in talking a patient in to going to the Mental Health Center for medication.
1:55 p.m. Fire Control received a 911 hang up from East St. They advised that when they called the number back it was all static. No one was home.
10:54 p.m. Caller reported two males fighting in the street on South Street and South Rich St. Both subjects were gone.
