Local dentist Dr. Leslie McDougall and her staff celebrated their one year anniversary at their Mt. Gilead location by making a $1000 donation to Flying Horse farms.
Office manager Jody Rowe shared, “From the beginning, she had every intention of donating to Flying Horse Farms.”
“Being in the community and giving back is just as important as the success of the office,” explained Dr. McDougall.
“I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with the partnership with the doctor and her staff,” said Donald Wiggins, Chief Community Officer, Flying Horse Farms. “They have been a great partner since they came to town. We thank them on behalf of the board, staff and campers of Flying Horse farms for their generous donation.”
Dr. McDougall gives back in other ways as well. If a person refers a new patient to her, they receive either a $100 credit on their bill or a check for $50. You do not have to be a patient to receive the referral fee.
“I’d rather give back into the community than hire a marketing firm,” said McDougall.
Her practice has a wellness focus.
“Oral conditions precipitate disease in the body,” McDougall maintains. Her practice is amalgam free; the “silver fillings” which contain mercury are not used.
