8:35 A.M. While on patrol on West High Street and HPM Street an office located lines down across the road. The lines were cable lines. The officer removed the lines from the road.
10:15 A. M. The complainant reported the theft of medicine from the 200 block of West High Street address.
12:30 P.M. Arrested a male subject in the 500 block of West Marion Road on a warrant for complicity to burglary.
12:30 P.M. Investigated a case of deception to obtain a dangerous drug in the 500 block of West Marion Road.
6:39 P.M. The complainant a male subject located on Lee Street contacted the station to advise his wife broke a protection order by calling his employer. The complainant stated his ex wife called his boss. The complainant stated his lawyer requested he call the police for a call log.
8:50 P.M. The complainant, a male subject, contacted the station to advise of a wire on the road in front of his house on West High Street. The complainant stated he called Time Warner Cable and they advised they would resolve in the morning. The complainant stated he wanted to make everyone aware.
9:46 P.M. The complainant, a female subject, contacted the station to request assistance with an unruly child at Morrow County Hospital. An officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant who stated the unruly child is saying she is not leaving her hospital room. The complainant stated the unruly child is 16 and has been released. The officer spoke with the unruly child and advised she would need to go home with her mother or go to jail. The unruly child stated she wanted to go home with her mother. The unruly child left the room with out incident.
11:10 P.M. Complainant reported the theft of an Ipad mini in the 500 block of West Marion Street.
5:06 A.M. While on foot patrol at the Merchants Mall Building, An officer found the front entrance to be unsecure. The officer checked the building and secured the door.
10:45 A.M. Complainant advised that he was assaulted by a male subject at the 100 block of South Main Street.
12:15 P.M. Complainant locked his keys in his vehicle at the 500 block of West Marion Road. Entry was gained without damage.
4:30 P.M. The complainant contacted the station regarding the residence on the 300 block of West Marion Street. The complainant advised that he is the real estate agent for this residence. The complainant stated this house was just sold at auction. The complainant advised that someone has been in side the residence without permission and was removing floors, cabinets, and doors. The complainant contacted the auction agency who provided the name of auction winner a male subject. The officer made contact with the male subject who advised he was in the residence cleaning and getting ready to add a new kitchen and floors. The male subject did not realize that he was not able to start working on the property. The male subject spoke with the complainant and stated he would no longer enter the property until closing.
5:20 P.M. The officer was dispatched to the West Marion Street address on a report of a 9-1-1 hang up. Upon arrival the officer found no one home at the residence.
11:05 P.M. The complainant reported her son and girlfriend are staying with her. The girlfriend had started an argument with the complainant and she wanted her to leave. The officer spoke with the complainant’s son. He stated he has rights to the apartment and stated he wanted his girlfriend to stay.
The officer looked at the lease, which was signed by the complainant’s daughter. The officer advised the complainant that neither her nor her son was on the lease and would need to get a lease signed with the land lord.
1:44 P.M. On March 29 at about 1:43 P.M. two officers were dispatched to West High Street for an alarm drop. Upon arrival, we checked both entrance doors to the building and they were both secure.
There were no signs of an attempted entry and it did not appear that anything was out of place inside the building.
7:10 P.M. Galion P.D. requested that an officer contact two female subjects on North Walnut Street. The officer spoke with a young male at the house, who stated the two females were not there. The message was left for them to contact the Galion P.D.
8:15 P.M. A female subject reported that a bottle of her medication had been stolen on North Main Street on Wednesday March 26, 2014.

12:45 P.M. Complainant locked her keys in her vehicle at the 500 block of West Marion Road.. Entry was gained without damage.
6:13 P.M. Complainant locked her keys in her vehicle at the 500 block of West High Street. Entry was gained without damage.
7:38 P.M. Complainant locked his keys in his vehicle on West High Street. Entry was gained without damage.
7:52 P.M. The complainant was assaulted by a male subject. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Morrow County Jail by a deputy.
8:38 P.M. A pedestrian was walking past West High Street and observed a door standing open. The officer checked the home which is currently up for sheriff sale, it was secured.
11:54 P.M. Arrested, cited, and released a male subject for O.V.I., prohibited operation, and unsafe vehicle.
8:55 A.M. Complainant requested an officer be present while a male customer came to the bank. The male customer did not show up, he had a case worker call and advise he would have to come another date.
1:10 P.M. Complainant reported a theft offense at the 100 block of West High Street.
6:47 P.M. Staff at the Certified reported a fuel drive off. The staff explained that the customer attempted to use a credit card but it did not process properly so they did not think the theft was intentional. They explained that the male is a regular customer and drives a bright green and black pickup truck. Staff called and reported that the customer had returned and paid for the fuel.
7:45 P.M. Fire control received a 9-1-1 hang up calls from the 300 block of West High Street. When the officer arrived he spoke with the home owner, he summoned his two small sons and we spoke with them about calling 9-1-1 when it was not an emergency. The home owner thanked me and the officer cleared the scene.
9:00 P.M. An unknown female called the State Patrol and reported a vehicle with no tail lights. The vehicle was traveling Westbound on West Marion Street. The call was eventually transferred to the Sheriff’s Office. Moments later the caller reported that the vehicle pulled in to their driveway on Baker Street. No one obtained the license plate of the vehicle or the exact apartment number on Baker Street so the officer was not able to locate and speak with the vehicle owner.
1:47 A.M. Cited and released a male subject on E. High Street for driving under suspension.
12:18 P.M. Complainant requested an officer assist with the removal of persons from an apartment. The complainant provided paperwork from the court allowing the complainant to change locks and remove unauthorized persons and/or property. The complainant advised the persons on the lease had moved out but now there were people in the apartment illegally. The officer found two female subjects and two male subjects in the apartment. The officer advised them they had to leave or be charged with trespassing, they decided to leave. The officer also advised them they were not welcome on Northwood Apartment property and if found on the property they would be charged accordingly. The complainant and a maintenance person changed the locks on the apartment.
12:56 P.M. On West Marion Street, several trash cans were in the roadway, which were removed.
3:00 P.M. Met the complainant at the Elementary School, where it was state that a father came to the school to pick up his daughter. Shortly, after the mother arrived to pick up the daughter and it was determined that per custody paperwork, it was the mother’s scheduled day for visitation. The father returned the child for an after school activity where both parents were told that it is a custody issue. The issue was documented for her.
2:23 P.M. A subject stopped and informed that an alarm was going off at the State Park Office. Located an unsecure door, found nothing out of place and turned the alarm off but was unable to reset it. The dispatcher contacted the main office and advised them of the situation.
3:12 P.M. Dispatched to N. Vine St. to deliver a message to a subject from the Richland Co Sheriff’s office, in which I left the message with his daughter.
4:31 P.M. A caller reported that a suspicious male was walking on Marion Rd. near Woodside Village. The caller reported the male had been around a silver van parked behind McDonalds where the male gathered some things up and started walking on Marion Rd. Was not able to locate the male, located the silver van but everything looked normal.
6:15 P.M. Fire control reported a 911 hang up in the area of Walnut and Elm Street, Nothing was found out of the ordinary, so an attempt to call the phone number and there was no answer and the voivemail was not set up.
