Chester Arbor of the Gleaner Fraternal Insurance Society hosted the recent visit of the Pleasant Shockers at Cardignton-Lincoln Elementary School on January 31. Their goal is to encourage a healthy life style by exercising and other heart healthy practices.

The Gleaners encourage rope jumping by giving a jump rope to every student in the school. There were 460 ropes distributed at the Cardington school. The Gleaners have teamed up with the Pleasant Shockers in past years with programs given at Mount Gilead and River Valley Schools.
